The Yinasi is one of the two main, primitive tribes in the Realm of Chaos. They first appeared in the Konquest mode of Mortal Kombat: Deception.
The Yinasi kept an uneasy truce with their neighboring tribe and sworn enemies, the Yangese for many years.
Shujinko during his adventures in the dreaded Chaosrealm, was asked by a hooded man with a bloody cleaver-like staff to start rumours about them and their rivals, the Yangese, in order to provoke a war and restore chaos.
