Wu is a minor character in Mortal Kombat: Deception's Konquest Mode.
He is a humble monk and the head of the order in the Temple of the Order of Light. Through the teaching of Shaolin and Wushu masters, he attempts to educate the masters of their local communities in way of defending Earthrealm from the unspeakable evil that lives beyond the veil between worlds. Later he was murdered, along with almost all of the Shaolin monks when Tarkatan warriors came to Earthrealm and attacked the order, to satisfy Shao Kahn's lust for power.
