The Titans are a race of primordial beings that predate the Elder Gods, others races and the Realms themselves. They are believed to be manipulating events behind the scenes and are supposedly the progenitors and parents to the Elder Gods. They first appeared in Mortal Kombat 11 with the main antagonist Kronika stating to be one of the Titans.

Trivia

• The concept of the Titans comes from Greco/Roman Mythology in which the Titans are the primordial rulers of the universe and the progenitors of the Gods themselves. This make sense since Kronika, a Titan, is the mother of Shinnok and Cetrion, two Elder Gods.
