The Temple of Katara Vala is a new arena in Earthrealm for Mortal Kombat 1.
Overview
Hidden in a South American jungle, the Temple houses the remains and artifacts of the great Katara Vala. One disturbs either at their peril. Cut! Reset! Nothing but movie magic on the set of Johnny's next big hit. From a Working Set to Film Set, do NOT walk through my shot.[1]
The stage contains two variants; the Movie Set variant is available from the start and takes place within the movie itself. The Work Set variant is unlocked by leveling up the player's profile and shows the film studio for the movie in the background, including camera crews and green screens.
Trivia
- If Havik is one of the characters selected in a match on this stage, Katara Vala (whose design is based on Havik's in previous timelines) will be absent from his throne.
