"Tekunin Prison," part of the "Tekunin Warship" built by a clan of cybernectic ninjas known as the Tekunin, is featured in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon and its Konquest mode.
Overview
The Tekunin Prison is a cybernetic room that is used to lock prisoners inside, located in the Bounty Hunter Warship which is commanded by the Tekunin clan's Grandmaster, Sektor.
The Tekunin Prison appears to be a variation of The Prison arena from Mortal Kombat 4/Gold. Unlike in MK4, however, the fan in the background no longer serves as the death trap, merely serving as a hazard that damages the players. Instead, a larger overhead fan on the ceiling chops up victims sent up there. There also appears to be a computer console and glass visual screen in the arena which are destructible.
Konquest
In Konquest Mode, Edenian demigod Taven must escape from the Tekunin Warship. The player can achieved this by running away from traps, defeating members of the Tekunin clan, and defeating the Grandmaster Sektor himself.
Trivia
- A Tekunin cyborg sporting a red recolor of Cyrax's Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance design appears in this arena's introduction, despite the fact the Tekunin have received individual designs as seen in the game's Konquest mode.
