TaiGores are fictional creatures in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. Their only appearance to date has been in Mortal Kombat (2011).
The TaiGores are canine-like beasts with horns instead of ears, four blue eyes, and blades attached at the tip of their tails.
A TaiGore can be seen in Shao Kahn's throne room within his palace, just to his left.
Trivia
- In Kung Lao's Babality, he throws his hat and a TaiGore tramples him chasing it. This could be a reference to his Friendship in MK3, where a dog chases the hat, yelps loudly, then Kung Lao shakes his head in disappointment.
- The TaiGores are a bit similar to the Netherrealm Hounds from Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero.
- It is possible that the name "TaiGore" is a pun on the word "tiger", due to their similar appearance and characteristics.
