The Sky Temple was a large tower located in Earthrealm.
Overview
This large temple was the place of meditation for Lord Raiden. At the top of the roof platform resided his War Hammer which drew lightning from the ever present storm that rages in the skies above.
The Sky Temple is a multi-level tower that premired in Mortal Kombat: Deception and reappeared in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. You start off on the roof of the tower. On each side, your opponent can be kicked over the edge and onto a lower balcony. There, there are three sides where your opponent can be kicked off the tower and plunge to their death on the ground below.
Hidden Messages
When some characters are pushed into the death trap, they will stop screaming long enough to utter out some last words.
- Jax: "OH MY GOD! THIS IS SO NOT HAPPENING TO ME!"
- Havik: "Man, this is gonna suck!" (Taven says it instead in Armageddon)
- Ermac: "SUCK IT!!!"
