Gold Shokan Guantlet

A gold, royal Shokan Gauntlet.

The four royal ring-like Shokan Gauntlets belonged to the treasury of the half-human, half-dragon race, the Shokan people living in their ancient city of Kuatan within Outworld including their ruler Prince Goro who wears them. They first appeared in Mortal Kombat 4 and later reappeared as an another collectible Relic under the name Goro's Gauntlets within the Konquest mode of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. The royal Shokan Gauntlets later return in platinum and with small spikes in Mortal Kombat (2011).


Prince Goro

Prince Goro wears the different, royal Shokan Gauntlets made out of gold.

Goro as the next heir to the throne of Kuatan and next in line to the leadership of his people, currently the two types of these royal Shokan Gauntlets on his wrists: silver and gold. He now wears them as so does his ancestors within the Royal Family of Kuatan through many generations.


Prince Goro (MK4)

Prince Goro wears the different, royal Shokan Gauntlets made out of silver in MK4 and MK Gold.

In MK4, Prince Goro wears his silver gauntlets and goes into war during the fallen Elder God Shinnok's invasion. He even contacted his old friend Princess Kitana representing the Royal Family of Edenia, to aid him in signing and enforcing a peace treaty between his people and their ancient enemy the Centaurians.


Prince Goro (MK9)

Prince Goro wears the different, royal Shokan Gauntlets made out of platinum and with small spikes in MK 2011.

Prince Goro later wore a different pair of royal Shokan Gauntlets made out of platinum with small spikes as he goes into battle in Mortal Kombat (2011).
