Shao Kahn's Staff, also called the Staff of Shao Kahn, is a silver sceptre holding a ruby red orb that is another deadly weapon of Shao Kahn. This cursed red ball was introduced in Mortal Kombat II, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Mortal Kombat Trilogy and Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks. The Staff of Shao Kahn was also endowed with the magic of the Emperor himself.
But in Mortal Kombat Trilogy, the red ball changes to brown with three spikes at the Courtyard.
However, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, Injustice: Gods Among Us and Mortal Kombat (2011) in Kahn's Arena, Shao Kahn has no staff.
In Mortal Kombat 11, staff appears in Krypt Kollector Items.
