The Emperor's own fortress is located in Outworld. The centerpiece is a huge obsidian palace with a giant skull helmet
atop its tower. It is filled with elevators and traps and is guarded by Shao Kahn's militia. It has dungeons and an armory
in the lower level, in the middle level is the balcony, and in the upper level are a map room and a throne room. It once
first appeared in Mortal Kombat 3 when Shao Kahn began his new invasion of Earthrealm. But was ultimately defeated
by Liu Kang and his friends and his fortress was the energy of all the souls he captured rushed into the Earth's skies
and it was disappeared back to Outworld, thus the invasion was thwarted.
