A Quitality is a new finishing move introduced in Mortal Kombat X. Quitalities occur only during an online match in which a player leaves the match before the end of the winning round (before the Finish Him/Her prompt). Doing this immediately causes that player's character's head to explode. This is similar to a Hara-Kiri in the way that the loser (somewhat) kills itself.
Quitality returns in Mortal Kombat 11, though it comes in two possible outcomes:
- The loser is impaled on a giant rock spike from behind
- The loser explodes into a bloody pulp

- This is the only finishing move to be restricted only to Multiplayer mode.
