The Prison is a large octagonal cell in the Netherrealm's Prison of Souls. This arena made its debut in Mortal Kombat 4 and Mortal Kombat Gold.
Overview
At the center of the back wall is a large metal fan. The ground is made of cement with a large, square, sewer-like ventilation in the middle, surrounded by four metallic paths leading to the North, South, East, and West ends of the cell. The cell is enclosed by electronic metal doors to either side.
Stage Fatality
The Prison Stage featured a stage fatality where the player could spin and toss the opponent flying into the large metal fan, which proceeded to chop them into bits and pieces and send their head flying towards the screen, leaving a stain of blood on it.
