The Plasma Crossbow is a special crossbow utilized by the Wind God Fujin in Mortal Kombat 4, Mortal Kombat Gold and Mortal Kombat 11. It is made out of gold, silver and black materials, and looks almost like a medieval crossbow. However, instead of shooting normal crossbow bolts, it shoots green energy bolts. Fujin uses this in his Crossbow Kill Fatality, which can make his opponent explode.
The Crossbow returns in Mortal Kombat 11. Fujin can equip a variety of crossbows through the game's Kustomization, though they are smaller in scale and wielded with one hand. The crossbows fire arrow shaped wind bolts, however it functions very much the same as it did in Mortal Kombat 4. He also uses it in Story Mode against Kabal and again to thaw Shang Tsung out of Sub-Zero's ice by shooting a vibrating arrow that frees him without injuring him.
