Mizong Quan
The art of Mi Zong.
Mi Zong is a northern Chinese martial art that relies on deception and mobility rather than power to defeat an opponent. It draws on many aspects of the northern Shaolin Long Fist style, especially its emphasis on flexibility. Mi Zong is characterized by deceptive hand movements, intricate footwork, varied kicks, and high leaps. An increased emphasis on mobility often comes at the price of power, but Mi Zong compensates for this by providing a means for the dynamic generation of power: a combination of the internal corkscrew power seen in Tai Chi and the external snapping power of Shaolin Long Fist. The result is the capability of generating force quickly and flexibly from any distance. Huo Yuanjia is one of the famous martial artists that practice Mi Zong.
Mortal Kombat
Mi Zong is used as secondary fighting style by Bo' Rai Cho in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and by Li Mei in Mortal Kombat: Deception and Unchained. It should be noted that in the story, Li Mei is trained by Bo' Rai Cho between Deadly Alliance and Deception, so it is possible that he's actually the one who taught her Mi Zong.
In Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, it is instead used by Dairou as his unarmed fighting style.
