Ok that's literally a given of him using his glove, like a fisherman using a fishing pole to fish. My comment was a joke given a lot of your edits on Freddy and Jason's pages have leaned towards Freddy vs Jason rather than moments in their respective franchises.
i would like to ask where did you get the information about these 3 guest characters will be summoned by Kronika in MK11's story mode? I'm asking because I want to add a source to prove your claim, so that no one will randomly spread rumors without having the proper information. thanks
By playing the final chapter of the Story Mode as Fire God Liu Kang, Kronika calls upon anyone from the roster, including them to fight for her. Happened to me twice, once with Terminator, the second with Joker. I uploaded a clip of it to my Twitter, here's a link of the clip https://twitter.com/Fizorak/status/1253421205882761217?s=20 . The Joker shows up 34 seconds into the 52 second clip
Both serve a great purpose in driving the main narrative of the story. Does not really matter how little the character appears, their actions and how they effect the overall story establishes them as a main antagonist as both Shao Kahn and Shinnok do. Shang Tsung is a secondary antagonist as he supports Shao Kahn, as does Quan Chi does for Shinnok. Shao Kahn and Shinnok are main driving characters in the story as their actions greatly effect over half of the protagonists of the franchise. Shinnok is a main antagonist of the current timeline due to his actions in both MK 2011 and MKX where he basically takes over the main antagonist role for Shao Kahn, despite Shinnok being in barely any games and even seemingly having minor roles.
An easy example I can give is Thnaos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Despite there being 23 films and he cameos in 3 but fully appears in 2, he is the main antagonist of that franchise. His actions and motives are the driving points of the story that make him the main antagonist, and even though he only appears in 2 films, he is in fact the antagonist for all the characters.
If you would like to ask someone else, I am not an admin, but you can also ask Riley, Reborn or Blitz for additional input if needed. I merely edit stuff and keep things in line as they should to the best I can
She is the main antagonist of Mortal Kombat 11, but not the series in the manner of how Shao Kahn or Shinnok are. As I said before, the long lasting consequences that both Shao Kahn and Shinnok have done to the overall narrative is why they are the main antagonists.
This can in fact be confusing with Kronika due to her having a now major impact, but until more is established using her, she is only the main antagonist of MK11 and not the franchise. However, some consider her the "true" antagonist of the series because of her manipulation of the timelines, but it is unclear at the moment due to her both being dead and little is known about her.
As I said before, if more clarification is needed, ask one of the admins for their input.
I don't want this to devolve into a meaningless edit war, so I'm gonna tell you my reasoning behind the change.
The guest characters are not canon to the MK franchise lore wise. They are not from Earthrealm, they don't reside in Earthrealm, these characters don't exist in the confines of the Mortal Kombat universe/timeline/realms/whathaveyou.
So I felt that the Resides section should be omitted from their bios and that their Origin section should list their home franchises, which is their technical origin.
Before I made those changes, I checked with the head admin, Riley Heligo.
I felt it was better if we changed it so as to further clairfy that they're not canon lore wise. To me personally, seeing them listed as residing/originating from Earthrealm or wherever seemed wrong. No need to apologize it's all good.
I understand, just feels like in the manner that since they are guests, they're brought into the realms, not the Lore. Kinda like with Hellboy in IJ2 and the Terminator, both are from their timelines/original respective Universes but under certain circumstances that's how they were brought there. I was never editing in the manner to make it seem like the characters were canon, a lot of the time I removed that when people added it to the pages and if I did list something about them, I would follow up with text stating the character is non-canon to the series.
