Master Leel was a minor character who appeared in Mortal Kombat: Conquest series in the episode entitled “Debt of the Dragon”. He was prtrayed by James Lee.
History
Master Leel was a monk who served at the Temple of the Order of Light. To make extra money, Taja opened a bazaar in the trading post’s courtyard. Leel argued with Siro because he wanted to purchase a big batch of apples but the price was too high. Kung Lao told Siro to reduce the price. Leel proceeded to buy the apples and servings of cinnamon and saffron.
Later he was killed by Jola, a member of The Black Dragon clan, who hung his corpse on the wall of the trading post. Affixed to Leel's body was a note saying that one more shall die each day the trio resists The Black Dragon. Against the counsel of Kung Lao, Siro begins a retaliatory crusade of his own.
