Jun Fan is the Chinese given name of Bruce Lee, the creator of Jeet Kune Do or "Way of the Intercepting Fist" and former Gung Fu practitioner. It is also the original martial art Bruce Lee developed before Jeet Kune Do. The name is used as a fighting style of Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat: Deception and Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. This tribute to Bruce Lee is likely a nod toward the inspiration he gave to the creation of the Liu Kang character.
