Jun Fan is an alternate name for Jeet Kune Do, and the name of the fighting style used by Liu Kang as his primary fighting style in Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 3, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Mortal Kombat: Deception and Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. This fighting style is also used by Johnny Cage and Mokap as one of their unarmed fighting styles in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, under its better-known name. The name of the fighting style is also based on Bruce Lee's chinese given name, 振藩 Junfan (Jun-fan) in Cantonese, Zhènfán (Zhen-fan) in Standard Chinese (Mandarin).
