Jujutsu fighting stance

Jujutsu, also known as jujitsu, is a Japanese martial art and a method of close combat for defeating an opponent in which one uses either a short weapon or none.

It's also a fighting style used by Raiden in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and Mortal Kombat: Deception.

Kitana is also stated to be knowledgeable in Jujitsu in the novelization of Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.

According to Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance:

"Jujutsu is a term used to refer to unarmed Japanese combat. Historically there are more than 750 documented varieties of jujutsu. In general, jujutsu tends to be comprehensive in the sense that they teach hand and foot strikes, throwing, joint-locks and ground fighting. Today Jujutsu is most commonly associated with throws, joint-locks and ground fighting."
