John Turk

John Turk (born December 30th, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois, USA) is a model, bodybuilder, personal trainer, former Chicago police officer, and actor.[1]

In the Mortal Kombat video game series, Turk first portrayed characters Kuai Liang (as Sub-Zero) and Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 3. In the updates of MK3, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and Mortal Kombat Trilogy, he also played all the masked ninja characters — Classic Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, Ermac, Rain, Noob Saibot, Human Smoke and Chameleon. The recoloring was done by John Tobias (one of the co creators of Mortal Kombat), who altered the colors on each ninja accordingly. His official special moves are only for Scorpion, Reptile and Classic Sub-Zero. He also starred as Bi-Han (as Sub-Zero) and Scorpion (in his human form, while Sal Divita played the "dead" Scorpion found later in the game in a cutscene) in the Mortal Kombat spinoff Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero.
