Floyd is a gag character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. A mysterious pink ninja with the abilities of past characters, he was introduced in Mortal Kombat 1 as a secret, unplayable Boss released alongside guest character Conan.
About Floyd
Floyd is a pink and white palette swap of Scorpion with abilities similar to that of Chameleon. His name and palette are a pun towards the English rock band Pink Floyd. The name is similar to the ninja Rain, whose name and purple color palette are based off the musician Prince's song "Purple Rain".
The character had been hinted at for years on social media by Ed Boon. One of the many ninjas that would randomly fall to their deaths in The Krypt in Mortal Kombat 11 was considered Floyd by the community, however it was never made official by developers. Also, this ninja had a darker shade of pink compared to Floyd's.
Appearance
Like many of the secret characters in the franchise, Floyd is a palette swap of Scorpion, using his MKII skin with an overall pink color with white outlines. His appearance is that of the Kameo fighter version of Scorpion with completely white eyes and pale white skin like Khameleon.
