Sub-Zero has won a match against Baraka in Mortal Kombat II, while incurring zero damage, thereby achieving a Flawless Victory.
Flawless Victory, Generally
In the Mortal Kombat series of fighting games, a Flawless Victory is achieved by winning a match without incurring any damage -- including block damage -- over the course of the match.
Similarly, in other versus fighting games, such as Street Fighter II, a player achieves a "Perfect" by winning a match while retaining 100% of their energy.
The phrase Flawless Victory has, over time, become part of the popular culture vernacular. Persons will often refer to an exceptional accomplishment as a "Flawless Victory" so as to accentuate the superior nature of the feat, all the while paying homage to Mortal Kombat. The phrase has also been observed in contemporary film and television.
