Overview |
The Fire Well is an arena that appears to be surrounded by fire and its walls are decorated with the skeletal remains of defeated warriors. The skulls of some fighters even litter the floor, and hellfire burns endlessly and deeply behind the arena's grates. This arena made its debut in Mortal Kombat 4 and Mortal Kombat Gold. The arena has returned in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon with an updated version of itself.

Trivia
- There was an original sketch of the Fire Well but it wound up as a sketch in the Krypt and Kontent gallery special features of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. This concept was later incorporated into what is now the Lava Shrine.
