Mortal Kombat X Comics[]
In the Mortal Kombat X comics, the city of Z'Unkahrah features heavily. The city is Outworld's capital and Kotal Kahn's seat of power. The city was besieged by Shokan forces at the command of King Gorbak, in retaliation for the defeat and dismemberment of his son at the hands of Kotal Kahn. During the siege, Kintaro lead the forces of the Shokan, aided by Oni warlords. The siege on the city was ended with King Gorbak's death at the hands of Kotal Kahn.
