Overview

The Chamber of Artifacts was an arena that featured in Earthrealm. It first debuted in Mortal Kombat: Deception.

Overview

This room was part of a complex used by the Red Dragon clan to store and house various artifacts that they have also stolen. In this chamber resided a sword that was encased in a large emerald gem at the centre of the stage.

The Chamber of Artifacts is made almost entirely of glass. They begin the fight on interconnected panes of glass. In the middle of the arena is a sword inside a spinning green emerald. This spinning emerald can be broken allowing the sword to be used against the opponent. Just hit or knock the opponent into the emerald and it will shatter allowing your access to Lungchuan Dao sword. To the left of the starting area are two double doors with tarps with East Asian symbols on them. All throughout this circular arena's walls are artifacts collected by the Red Dragon. There are also windows allowing light to spill in, and stairs leading up to another level. The glass they are fighting on can crack and eventually break.

If either kombatant is hit onto the same pane of glass one or two times, it will eventually break allowing access to the bottom portion of this arena. The bottom portion of the Chamber of Artifacts looks similar to the upper portion. There is now a massive pillar in the middle of the fighting area with East Asian symbols on it. Below these panes of glass that the kombatants still fight are, are massive clockwork machinery operating within this "museum". There are torches and windows on the wall as well as more artifacts and East Asian writings. The glass above them can still be broken.

When fighting on the bottom portion, a kombatant can uppercut the latter sending him/her skating through one pane of glass and then falling back down through a second pane of glass.
