The Cage Mansion is an arena that debuts in Mortal Kombat 1. It is the personal mansion and home of Johnny Cage in Malibu, California in Earthrealm.
Overview
Johnny's Malibu dreamhouse sports stunning views and top-notch amenities. It's one of a kind and the ultimate chick magnet. There, he and his wife Cris live before she breaks up with him due to his lavish lifestyle. He is later confronted by Kenshi Takahashi for Sento, then later recruited by Liu Kang to become one of his champions.
Trivia
- In Invasion Mode, the mansion's entrance has the name plate "Johnny's Cage".
- The mansion's theater reuses the cinema board of Empire Theatre from Injustice 2.
- On the coffee table, there are pizza boxes that say "Caution: Toasty", a reference to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' victory outros in Injustice 2. They are the same models from that game.
- Interactions with Johnny reveal he sold the mansion as part of the in-court divorce agreement with his ex-wife Cris.
- A copy of the world-famous Nefertiti Bust is one of the items in the mansion.
- On the second floor, there's a highly distorted painting of Johnny's past self from Mortal Kombat 11 hanging on the wall. It normally can't be seen due to its high position.
- If Kenshi is one of the characters in a match, Sento will be absent from its place on the wall in the mansion, due to Kenshi using it in battle.
