Boxing (Western Boxing) is a combat sport in which two people, usually wearing protective gloves, throw punches at each other for a predetermined amount of time in a boxing ring. This is usually done professionally to earn money and win a title. Boxing uses primarily four punches: the jab, cross, hook and uppercut. It includes slipping, ducking, blocking, parring, clinching, and footwork for defense.
