Well I looked it up and I think it’s because the Japanese strictly created their own style based on Chinese ideas instead of completely copying it

Actually it was the other way around the Japanese were inspired and influenced by Chinese military and fighting styles. Japanese just took what they learned from them and made their own style..Ninjitsu
