I've been taking a listen to Killer Instinct (2013)'s themes, and this idea popped into my head. Maybe each theme is based off the 90s MK Movie theme, but with elements fitting their backstory, like Cyrax/Sektor having techno-synth for a theme and Kitana having a royal-esque theme.
