We have all seen Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees in the Mortal Kombat Universe as Guest Kharacters, with Freddy Krueger being a Guest alongside Kratos in Mortal Kombat IX, whilst Jason Voorhees was in Mortal Kombat X with Leatherface (Thomas Dewitt), Xenomorph (Alien), and Yautja (Predator). When seeing Xenomorph Versus Yautja (Alien Versus Predator) in Mortal Kombat X, I had nothing upon my mind at the time. However, upon seeing Mortal Kombat 11 Guest Kharacters, I noticed the age old Rivalry that was Robocop (Alex Murphy) Versus The Terminator (NRS-426), I had an interesting thought that crossed my mind, and this involved the 2003 Film Freddy Versus Jason. I have several questions that are on my mind right now.
Note: I am aware of Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees on Mortal Kombat X Mobile Version only, but this topic is focused on the Game Konsoles of the Seventh Generation (PS3, Xbox 360, etc.)
Here are the questions:
1) If Netherrealm Studios was aware of the 2003 Film Freddy Versus Jason, why wasn't Jason Voorhees in Mortal Kombat IX?
Or alternately,
2) Why wasn't Freddy Krueger in Mortal Kombat X for the Game Konsoles?
Also,
3) Why did Netherrealm release Freddy Krueger for the Mobile Version of Mortal Kombat X?
4) Did Netherrealm Studios plans to have Jasno Voorhees in Mortal Kombat IX, and/or plans to have Freddy Krueger for the Konsole Version of Mortal Kombat X?
And if so,
5) Why were those plans scrapped?
I just cannot wrap my head around this conundrum at all, since Ed Boon and Netherrealm Studios would've seen Freddy Versus Jason, and realise the potential for a massive trip down memory lane. Besides, had this epic rivalry been paired in Mortal Kombat IX, it would've been the first before Xenomorph Versus Yautja (Alien Versus Predator) in Mortal Kombat X. However, had Freddy and Jason been paired together in the Konsole Version of Mortal Kombat X, as well as alongside with Xenomorph Versus Yautja (Alien Versus Predator), then that would've been a double bonus all round. It is a real shame that such an opportunity was wasted, let alone sidelined to the Mobile Version of Mortal Kombat X, but that is just my opinion only.
Can Mortal Kombat Fans help me answer these questions?

So i main Jason in his Slasher variation, which is a fairly powerful character, seeing as he has a decent ranged attack, as well as melee supremacy over many other characters. But he has a weakness: traps. Things like caltrops and Predator traps are a nightmare for me, since Slasher Jason can’t teleport to the other side of the enemy. Another weakness he has is his speed. Unless he chains it right after a normal Kombo, you can easily get in before the first Psycho Slash swing, and his only ranged attack is a high attack that you can easily duck. Here are a couple things you DONT want to do against him.
Rule Number 1 of fighting Slasher Jason is do not let him close to you if your a ranged character. In fact, it’s worth the match taking longer to whittle him down with ranged attacks and keep him at a distance. He is built for melee.
Number 2 is to avoid attacks that make you move towards him at any pace that isn’t really fast. His Bloodlust attack, when timed right, can snatch you right out of that dash, and Psycho Slash can stop most attacks, as well as chaining into damaging you.
Number 3, perhaps the most important rule is never underestimate his reach or his hitboxes. His XRay’s walking forward may seem slow, but it slightly outpaces your backing up. In the Bloodlust attack, if you are within arms reach, he can interrupt pretty much everything I’ve seen besides a good block. With Psycho Slash, he moves forward as he swings, and if you get hit by even one of the slashes, every slash after that will hit you.
In short, Slasher Jason is a melee murder machine with a weakness to traps and a smaller weakness in his slow to start attacks, but once he’s got one swing to hit, chances are every swing afterward will, too.

Does MKXL come with Alien, Jason, leatherface, predator, triborg, and the other 3 characters I can’t remember the name of or does that come with the Kombat pack 1 and 2?
