Raiden is one of the strongest and most powerful characters, but until recently, is getting weaker and weaker, and it won't be long until he finally dies for good. With no way to bring him back, I think that Raiden would've thought of a contingency plan for his death, so that the protagonists of Earethrealm will stand a chance of victory.
The Question is this:
Should there be a Lightning and/or Electric Elemental?
Yes, there will be those people who say that this will be pointless, and that Raiden is too popular to die. But this is for the 'What If...?' scenario, since a lot of Mortal Kombat Characters do not come back until Way Later, and Raiden will meet his own end soon enough. So with Raiden temporarily gone, there will be a Lightning and/or an Electric Elemental, who will help out until Raiden is revived but will still stay around no matter what.
But what do Mortal Kombat Fans and people think about this?
Would Netherrealm Studios consider this idea for future Mortal Kombat Games?
I have another interesting idea on my mind, which would mean a possible new Kharacter to the Mortal Kombat Universe.
I had been reading up about Orderrealm, and how the location is based in the sky as well as in the highest uplands, which is where the thought of a New Elemental just popped into my head. A question also follows this new idea.
The Question is this:
Should there be a Wind or an Air Elemental from Orderrealm in Future Mortal Kombat Games?
As I have said, I have covered this topic five times before, and I do know that both Cetrion and Fujin can cast Wind. Besides, with only two Elementals known about (Blaze and Tremor), then it would make sense to have a Wind or an Air Elemental from Orderrealm. Yes, Orderrealm isn't known for worshipping the Wind or the Air, but given that the location is sky high and in the clouds, then it would make sense to have a Wind or an Air Elemental from Orderrealm.

I just had a sudden thought of a brand cool new Kharacter to the Mortal Kombat Universe.
I had been reading up about Chaosrealm, and how they value water for being shapeless and formless, but then a sudden thought of a New Elemental just popped into my head, which is in the following question.
Anyway the question is this:
Should there be a Water Elemental from Chaosrealm in Future Mortal Kombat Games?
Yes, I do know about Rain and Cetrion, but I did cover this topic twice before in my Elemental Character and Golem Character for the Mortal Kombat Posts, and I also covered this topic, in two polls about new elements of ninjas. Besides, there are only two Elementals, Blaze and Tremor, and Cetrion is an Elder God. I also am aware of Havik, but a Water Elemental from Chaosrealm would make way much sense, since he/she (whatever gender Netherrealm Studios decides) will represent Chaosrealm's Sacred Worshipped Element Water.

I know this topic might sound similar to my last topic about Elementals, but do hear me out as this is an interesting topic, as this trend has been used in other videogame franchises. I was going to include this subject, but I totally forgot about it since I was tired, and since I have rested, it is time to talk about it.
Here are the following questions:
1) Should there be a Golem Character?
2) Should the Golem Character have an Element Power?
3) Is there a location in the Mortal Kombat Universe where Golems come from?
4) Are the Golems and Elementals friends?
And,
5) Should a Golem fuse with another Golem to make a Fusion Golem?
Tremor wasn't a Golem and didn't become a Golem, so it is safe and sensible to include a Golem Character (or possibly more Golem Characters) in the Mortal Kombat Universe, since I have found no mention of a single Golem Character anywhere in the Mortal Kombat Fandom Wikia. Not all Golems can be and/or are Elementals, which is why a Golem Character (or more) can be included in the Mortal Kombat Universe, and Netherrealm Studios can decide whether to make them Element Casters or not (although I guess that Netherrealm Studios would make the Golem Characters Element Casters, and I am all for that as well in my honest opinion).
But what do Mortal Kombat Fans and people think about this?
Would Netherrealm Studios even consider this idea for future Mortal Kombat Games?
We all know about Blaze the Fire Elemental, as well as Tremor who becomes an Earth Elemental, and Cetrion who is a Fallen Elder God of the Four Earthrealm Elements. But a few questions have come to my mind, whilst I was looking at a few pages of Mortal Kombat Fandom Wikia.
The questions are these:
1) Should we have more Elementals?
2) Should some of the other Mortal Kombat characters become Elementals?
3) Is there a location in the Mortal Kombat Universe that the Elementals come from?
4) Should there be New Elements for New Elements?
And,
5) Should Elementals fuse with each other to make Fusion Elementals?
I know there is loads of Elemental Warriors, Ninjas, etc. (Rain, Sub-Zero, Fuijin, Raiden, and so on.), but since there is Blaze the Fire Elemental whilst there is Hanso Hazashi (Scorpion the Fire Element User) still around, then it would make sense to include a load of Elementals.
