Certain media have bad endings. Horror movies especially. But action tv shows and games should end with the good guys winning instead of the bad guys. Have you ever seen evil win in the end before?

Yeah, before, but it’s mainly non-canonical stories. Villains can never be the victors for the overall outcome without the heroes coming back, winning against them and take their role as the victors.

I mean there are a lot of ways Injustice can continue. Same thing with the new MK timeline since I thought it’s better that Shao should be Shao Kahn again.
