Regardless of the timeline, Reptile has always been one of the coolest ninja in the entire franchise. Since his secret appearance in the first game, he's always had an air of mystery about him which I personally think only bolstered his popularity. He's also had unique designs about him in the various timelines. Like in the OG, he gets more reptilian and less human looking the further he is from his queen. In the AU, he's the last of his race. In the current time, he initial comes off as a rare mutant among his people but turns out that many of his race could shapeshift like him. He's so cool that even in all three timelines Sgamg Tsung makes sure to have this scaley scoundrel working closely by him. Reptile is awesome!
