Mortal Kombat 1 has been announced with a release date of September 19th! Liu Kang’s New Era is being forged but a snake always slithers through the grass, with Shang Tsung also returning.

Pre-orders start tomorrow and you will also be able to get Shang Tsung as a pre-order bonus character, joining Goro and Shao Kahn as the third of three bonus characters ever featured in the series as pre-order bonuses. Additionally, you will be able to access the game’s beta in August.

As more and more information about Mortal Kombat 1 come out, as well as the push to expand the wiki with info about the new game, myself, other Admins and moderators kindly ask you all to avoid posting leaks, spoilers and other non-authorized content regarding the new game. Feel free to talk and discuss as freely as you want, however we ask and advise you to please avoid spoilers, leaks, and posting unauthorized information about the game. Such things will be removed and people responsible will be faced with levels of consequences.
